The Vignerons du Brulhois re-tie the threads of history

Separated until now by history and by the administrative limits of the Tarn-et-Garonne and Lot-et-Garonne departments, the wine cellars at Donzac and at Goulens have today united together. Once again it is thanks to the willpower of men that this has been possible. The Vignerons du Brulhois are striving, with great force, to recapture their history and their fame.

Michel Delpech, vineyard owner and president of the Vignerons du Brulhois :

“The term Black Wine is part of our history. Our terroir has always produced deeply coloured wines, we are proud of this fact, and too bad if it’s not fashionable at the moment!”

Since 1994 the Vignerons organise the Grape Cutter World Championship in Donzac. This competition is the occasion for a big celebration. Honouring the gestures of times gone by gives us the chance to rediscover moments of dexterity and efficiency and combine them with solidarity and conviviality.
