The Côtes du Brulhois appellation, small in size, is following an original path to quality.
The Vignerons have committed themselves to strict production rules and to a contract of quality established plot by plot. The winegrowers commit themselves to respecting the schedule of conditions, the density of the plantation, the cultural practices : fertilisation, weed control, pruning, and thinning out of the leaves. In return, the winegrower benefits from technical assistance in order to manage the plots in the best way possible, allowing maximum quality while respecting the environment thanks to a programme of reasoned disease control. All possible steps are taken to ensure a healthy harvest with rich and concentrated grapes.

Out of the diverse grape varieties which were used in days gone by, the Vignerons des Côtes du Brulhois have kept Tannat, Malbec and Fer Servadou associated with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
